Case Study

James Webb Space Telescope

Problem

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is a space telescope developed by NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

Challenge

The most complex telescope in the history of space exploration requires a website.

Not just any website — a website fit enough for worldwide media attention.

Solution

Due to the wealth of information we needed to cover, we broke the website into the three core areas of the telescope’s origins: science, technology and people.

The Challenge

Create a global digital platform worthy of one of the most significant scientific missions of our generation.

And yes — we were over the moon (see what we did there?) to be trusted with it.

JWST

The Problem

JWST is complex. Monumentally complex.

It needed to communicate:

  • Groundbreaking science.
  • Revolutionary engineering.
  • International collaboration.
  • Educational value for future generations.

At the same time, the mission required a structured resource and education portal — allowing scientists, teachers and institutions to submit research, access materials and document this historic moment properly.

This wasn’t just a marketing site.
It was a knowledge hub for a new era in astrophysics.

The Solution

We designed and developed a structured, scalable digital ecosystem built around three core pillars:

Science — breaking down discoveries and what they mean.
Technology — explaining the engineering that makes JWST possible.
People — highlighting the scientists and teams behind the mission.

Alongside this, we built a dedicated resource and education portal — enabling academic submissions, educational access and documentation from researchers and institutions worldwide.

During launch, we were trusted with receiving and publishing JWST imagery ahead of public announcement — ensuring the platform was ready for one of the most anticipated image releases in modern space exploration.

When the universe goes live, the infrastructure cannot fail.

The Outcome

JWST is now one of the most important scientific instruments in operation.

The platform supports:

  • Global public engagement.
  • Academic research documentation.
  • Educational resources for teachers and institutions.
  • Publication of historic space imagery.

A monumental engineering achievement.
A new chapter in space exploration.
A digital platform built to match its scale.
